Volume 26: Call for Submissions

Submissions of literary, visual, and performance are now OPEN for Volume 26! We appreciate your interest.

See the links below for each category's deadlines and submission details. ⬇️

Submissions are accepted from anyone with a connection to the Lower Columbia region (students, staff, and community members of all ages). We ask that submitters include a brief biographical statement (one to four sentences) that describes their connection to the region.

Student editors, enrolled in Arts Magazine Publication, are not eligible to submit work for review while serving on the editorial selection committees (see the timelines listed below). Please keep this in mind when considering which quarter to enroll for. If you submit early and enroll later, you can request to have your submissions "returned" by emailing our faculty advisor Amber Lemiere at alemiere@lowercolumbia.edu.

  • Fall quarter: selection of literary art.

  • Winter quarter: selection of visual art.

  • Spring quarter: selection of performance art.

Questions may be directed to the editorial staff at salal@lowercolumbia.edu.
